Our founder
Dwelling Doctors was founded by Scott Evans, an electrician turned entrepreneur with a passion for doing things properly.
Scott's journey started on the tools, learning how to fix things and, more importantly, why they fail. His career took a turn the day he was handed a ventilation brochure on a job. What began as a small spark of interest soon became a calling to tackle the root causes of damp and mould across UK homes.
In Scott's words..
"I've climbed into damp lofts, installed the systems, and sat across from families living in mould and told them, face to face, that we'd fix it — and meant every word."
Since founding Dwelling Doctors, Scott has built a team of circa 100 people united by the same principles: honesty, effort and education. Today, Scott leads with the same mindset that started it all - hard work, fairness and a belief that doing right by people is still the best business strategy there is.
His focus remains on one thing: making every home a healthier place to live.

When Lee met Scott and heard his vision for The Dwelling Doctors, he knew immediately that it was something special. The combination of purpose, integrity and ambition resonated deeply, and he decided not just to join the journey — but to invest in it.
With a background in scaling businesses and a passion for building strong teams, Lee saw an opportunity to help turn Scott's vision into a movement. His focus is on creating a company that's not only commercially successful, but a great place to work — where people feel valued, empowered and proud of the difference they make every day.

Every member of the Dwelling Doctors team plays a part in our mission. We collaborate across disciplines, share knowledge openly and support one another through every challenge. This teamwork allows us to respond quickly, uphold our standards and keep our promises to clients and residents alike.
